Then.....oh there's no place like home for the holidays

This was taken as I got home from the hospital. Aweful....I know. We forgot to take one in the hospital, which now thinking about it, who would want to see me in a dressing gown. Ick!

Don't worry I look much more normal now. Ffffeeeewwww.

Setting up for Christmas and Christmas Morning

We were so proud of our little tree. We even went and picked it out ourselves. It was so fun to be home this year so that we could decorate more.

Thanksgiving Pics

Here we are at my Aunt Sue's house in Eden, UT.

Thanksgiving, Christmas and all that Jazz....

Well we've had a very eventful last couple of weeks. Here it is almost New Year's and I'm just getting around to showing the pics. Ah well..... When you are in the hospital for Chicken Pox things get a little out of hand. That's right folks you can have chicken pox as an adult. All these years I thought it was just a lie, who gets chicken pox when they are 25? Well I do evidently. I came home from work on the 19th of December with a fever, not too bad, about 100 degrees. Thought I had been working a little hard and just needed to sleep it off. Took a shower the next morning and what do I see? Little blisters all over me......on the next day of christmas the doctors came to say.........you have the chicken pox!!! Well it didn't quite happen that way, I had to be admitted to hospital first because we could have swarn that I already had chicken pox and if I did, what was it that I had now. The doctors were checking for all sorts of lovely diseases: scarlet fever, measles, ruebella, herpies. But once the medicine kicked in we were good to go. I got to come home on the 23rd of December, not too worse for the wear and my chicken pox rash is almost gone. Hallelujah for modern medicine. For those wondering, the baby if fine and nothing from all this craziness should affect him. Thanks Goodness!!! Till next year. Hope you are all having wonderful holidays with your family and loved ones.

Sorry to all

Hello to all that have posted comments and thought we were the most horrible people ever. I didn't realize that we even had any until today. As you can see I'm still new to this blogging thing and not very good at viewing our site. Anyways.....we love you all and are glad that you are all so excited for us. We can't wait for our little guy to come either!!!!

Happy Halloween

This Halloween has to go down in our family history. It was so fun because Corey and I took my two cousins, Robert and Steven, trick-or-treating. I can't wait until our kids are big enough to do this. It was a blast!!

Sunday Mornings

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring. I have to say that rainy Sunday mornings are my all time fav. Corey is still sleeping and I have the apartment to myself. Sometimes alone time can be what you need to become the most refreshed. Hearing the rain, having a hot breakfast, and catching up with friends on Facebook. That's what I call a great day.

Our 2nd Anniversary @ La Caille

Me at 21 weeks

So, here I am at 21 weeks. We were on our way to La Caille to celebrate our 2nd year anniversary. I'm well into the 2rd trimester, so I'm feeling pretty good, though I wish this baby was here. All my friends are having their babies before me and I'm getting a little jeolous. But we just went to the doctor for an ultra sound, so we also have gavin pic updates. Here they are........

Parent's Stay

We had a really great time with my parents this last weekend. I wish it could have been longer. We didn't go to my Aunt's cabin by the lake, instead we went to her house and just hung out. It was really relaxing.

4th of July

The fourth of July should be really fun this year. My parents are coming to see us from California. We are going to BBQ and hang out with the neighbors. Then we are going to my Aunts cabin by a lake.

About Us

We are Corey and Annette Blackham and we've been married since October 14th, 2006. We currently live in Orem, Ut. We are expecting our first baby and we are super excited. We are expecting the baby to be here sometime in February but we will know for sure at our first doctor's appointment. Corey is going to school at Utah Valley University and will graduate in 2010. He is in the business management program, which he will use when he starts his own Dental Lab. Right now he is in training to be a Dental Lab Technician and will finish this training in January. We will probably be in Orem until Corey finishes his bachelors at UVU.
