Day 3 - Anne of Green Gables

After we finished shopping in Charlottetown, we continued up to Cavendish, PEI to the sites of Anne of Green Gables. Lucy Maud Montgomery lived here with her Grandmother and Grandfather.

This is the trail for the Haunted Woods that Anne and Diana go through after the school picnic where Gilbert taunts Anne about being afraid to go on the farm roof. The trail then opens up to a stair case and Green Gables. This is where Lucy's aunt and uncle lived, who she characterized Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert after.
