We stayed across the bay in Dartmouth and came across this bridge into Halifax.
Most of the morning was spent at the Wharf and in the Maritimes Museum. Halifax is where all the survivors and dead came to from the Titanic. They also track all the hurricanes for the year. I was in awe of how many there had already been.
The Wharf was really fun. It was cool to see all the old building surrounded by new. The architecture was amazing.
We went this tiny crystal store and got to see the guys hard at work making crystal goblets.
On our way up to the town Clock and Citadel, I took a bajillion pictures of the buildings. I really fell in love with the architecture. But I'll spare you and just post some. :)
At the very top of the hill is the town clock and citadel. It felt a lot like looking down one of San Francisco's streets.
We then took a tour of the Citadel that would protect the city from incoming invasion.
Next we walked down to the Public Gardens. They were amazing and I was so jealous that we don't have anything nearly as pretty to go to.
We were pretty bushed that night, so we went back to our hotel and went swimming. We met this great lady who told us about the outlet stores just outside our hotel, so we did some shopping and then went to dinner.
